Mount Lushan in Jiujiang

Lushan, in Jiujiang, is one of Chinas most famous mountains. Its scenery has attracted tourists throughout Chinas history. Numerous legends and fables have been told about its points of interest. Now it has been classified as National Park under state protection.

Lushan is abundant in scenic spots, springs, rocks in fancy shapes and waterfalls. It is especially famous for waterfalls. In summer time Lushan is a perfect resort place, and in winter Lusahn presents a unique snow clad mountain view. On the mountains there are also many ancient temples and Buddhist cultural relics.

In December,1996 The mount Lushan was listed in the Chronology of   Recognition of World Heritages in China.
